Thank you for choosing Sunrise Montessori Academy of Independence, llc for your child. Our goal is to provide the highest quality Montessori education possible for your child. In order to maintain a high standard of education, it is necessary to have a stable financial base. You will be assisting us in achieving our goals by your execution of this agreement, which constitutes your commitment to financially support the enrollment space in the program/s you have selected for your child.
Academic Day refers to the period of day that a child is attending class, from 8:30am to 3:30pm.
Academic Half Day is the same as an academic day but scheduled from 8:30am to 12:30 pm.
Before Care will be provided from 7:00am to 8:30am.
After Care will be provided after 3:30pm until 5:00pm.
Extended Care will be provided from 5:00pm until 6:00pm

This agreement hereby constitutes and agreement for services to be provided by Sunrise Montessori
Academy for your child for the entirety of the 2020/2021 academic year or academic year plus summer.
You may choose a payment option that meets your financial needs. We offer a variety of tuition payment
arrangements to fulfill the financial obligation of the programs you've selected. Families may choose
Payment in full; 12 monthly payments; 52 weekly payments for the Academic Year PLUS SUMMER (12

ACADEMIC YEAR ONLY (August – May)
I am enrolling my child for the academic year. I am committing my student to enrollment in the program until the last day of school for this 2020/2021 school year and choosing to: (indicate your choice for payment)
Pay in full for the academic year and receive a 10% discount (May 22nd deadline) or 5% (July 15th deadline)
I would like to make 10 monthly installments, the first installment due on July 22nd for the partial month of August and the last due April 22nd. August is pro-rated for a partial month payment.
I would like to make 42 weekly installments, the first installment due on July 22nd and subsequent payment on August 19th and every Wednesday, the week prior to service until the second to the last week of May.
ACADEMIC YEAR PLUS SUMMER (August – August)
I am enrolling my child for the academic year PLUS summer program (June, July, partial August). I am committing my student to enrollment in the program until the last day of summer program and choosing to: (indicate your choice)
Pay in full for the academic year (and receive 5% discount if paid by the July 15th deadline)
I would like to make 12 monthly installments, the first installment due on July 22nd for the partial month of August and the last due on July 22nd. . August is pro-rated for a partial month payment.
I would like to make 52 weekly installments, the first payment due on July 22nd for the week of August 17thand following payments made on the Wednesday, the week prior to service. The second payment on August 19th, 2020 and every Wednesday, the week prior to service until the second to the last week before summer program ends.
Monthly payments are due on the 22nd of each month, prior to the month of service. (e.g. August tuition is due by July 22nd.) Weekly payments are due on Wednesday before the week of service and are considered late after Friday. Payments will be accepted through Tuition Express, our payment processing service and can be made via electronic funds transfer by bank account which is our preferred method of payment. Electronic credit card payments will also be accepted. Note, all credit card payments will incur a credit card convenience fee.
Late pick up fee of $1 per minute will be charged for each minute after the student's designated program ends. Late pick up fees should be paid directly to closing teacher if pick up is after 6:00pm
Holidays, Absences & Emergency Closings - There shall be no reduction in tuition for holidays, breaks, absences due to illness, injury or for any type of emergency closings (illness, injury, inclement weather, hazardous conditions, etc.) The school calendar is posted annually on the website & distributed annually.
Change of Schedule or Withdrawal from - Written notice of intent to withdraw from any portion of the program or desired change of schedule must be delivered to the office, in writing, 30 days prior to change or reductions in schedule and/or withdrawal from program. If office personnel are not present, please leave in drop box outside of office. No verbal or email notifications. With proper notice, and after 30 days of notification, if account was paid in full, a refund will be issued within 90 days of withdrawal less discount received.
I have read and understand the terms contained within this agreement that I am entering into with Sunrise Montessori Academy of Independence, llc. I agree to abide by the policies stated in the parent handbook and application for admission. I agree to provide 30-day notice prior to withdrawal of my child. I agree to provide 30-days notice for all schedule change requests. I hereby agree to all terms herein and the validity of information in my child's application for admission. My signature below confirms that I understand the terms of the application, school handbook (located on our website), policies and this financial agreement.
